Review and evaluate detailed and extensive technical specifications for packaged equipment. Extracts applicable client requirements;
Inputs client application condition into design program calculations to select appropriate equipment;
Development of budgets and project cost estimates for bid process;
Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications;
Liaises with project detail engineers in preparation of outline arrangement drawings for client bid submissions;
Responds on detailed technical clarification questions from clients contract negotiations;
Liaising with other internal departments such as Detailed Engineering, Customer Services Purchasing, Production, Finance, as well as field sales personnel and suppliers, as necessary;
Following up quotations proactively to secure the business for the company through support for Regional Sales Managers;
Supporting the aftermarket sales and customer service team on inquiries and orders as necessary.
Functie-eisen
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in engineering field from four-year College or university; and minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Demonstrated Technical Sales experience is required;
Knowledge of design of pressure vessels, pipe-work and skid packages to international design codes and client specific requirements advantageous;
Knowledge of Oil / Gas & Petrochemical industry sectors advantageous;
Fluent in English / Dutch & German/French (pre);
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed technical specifications for mechanical equipment in the oil & gas, petrochemical industries;
Ability to travel internationally occasionally for client clarification meetings;
Familiarity with process engineered skidded equipment, PED / ASME Design Codes.
